Repair Terms and Conditions

These Repair Terms and Conditions apply when you submit equipment, components, or devices to Fix2Spares for inspection, diagnosis, quotation, repair, testing, pickup, storage, or return. They supplement the website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Repair Request and Acceptance

A submitted form creates a repair enquiry, not a guarantee that the item can be repaired. Fix2Spares may decline equipment that is unsafe, prohibited, contaminated, unlawfully possessed, unsupported, economically impractical, or outside our technical or carrier capability.

2. Customer Authority and Accurate Information

You confirm that you own the equipment or are authorized by its owner to request inspection and repair. You must disclose known hazards, batteries, contamination, previous repairs, access restrictions, passwords needed for agreed testing, and accurate model, serial, fault, and contact information.

3. Multiple Items and Repair Codes

A bulk request may contain multiple product groups under one repair code. Each unit or product group may require a separate diagnosis, estimate, approval, completion date, and outcome even when shown together in the customer portal.

4. Delivery, Pickup, and Packaging

Unless Fix2Spares arranges pickup in writing, you are responsible for secure packaging, lawful shipment, insurance choices, and transport to our facility. Remove loose accessories unless required for testing and list every included accessory. Return shipping, duties, taxes, remote-area fees, and special handling may be added to the approved cost.

5. Inspection, Diagnosis, and Estimate

Initial information is provisional until the equipment is physically inspected. Where applicable, we will communicate estimated work, parts, taxes, shipping, and other charges before chargeable repair work proceeds. Any inspection or diagnosis fee will be disclosed where applicable. Disassembly or testing may reveal additional faults, and revised work requires further approval where the scope or cost materially changes.

6. Approval and Cancellation

Approval may be recorded through the repair portal, email, written quotation, payment, or another written communication. After approval, you are responsible for work completed, non-returnable parts ordered, and disclosed costs if you later cancel. No guarantee is made that cancellation can stop work or procurement already in progress.

7. Parts and Substitutions

Repairs may use new, compatible, refurbished, reclaimed, or repaired parts where stated or approved. Availability can affect the estimate and completion time. Replaced parts may be retained for supplier, warranty, safety, environmental, or exchange requirements; ask before approval if return of replaced parts is important.

8. Customer Data and Access

You should back up data and remove confidential or unnecessary information before submitting equipment. Repair, testing, firmware, storage replacement, malware removal, or an existing fault can result in data loss or reset. Fix2Spares will take reasonable care but cannot guarantee preservation or recovery of data. Credentials supplied for testing will be used only as reasonably required for the repair and should be changed afterward.

9. Repairability, Testing, and Completion

Repair outcomes and completion dates are estimates. Some faults are intermittent, hidden, dependent on unavailable parts, or caused by wider system conditions. An item may be returned unrepaired if it is unrepairable, unsafe, parts are unavailable, approval is declined, or the repair is not economically practical. Testing is limited to functions reasonably connected with the reported fault and available test conditions.

10. Charges, Taxes, and Release

Approved repair charges, applicable GST, parts, diagnosis, storage where disclosed, pickup, shipping, insurance, customs, or other agreed charges must be paid before collection or dispatch unless written credit terms apply. A tax invoice or other applicable document will be provided in accordance with the transaction and legal requirements.

11. Repair Warranty

Any warranty on repair work or replacement parts will be stated in the quotation, invoice, portal message, or other written communication. Unless stated otherwise, a repair warranty applies only to the specific work and parts supplied by Fix2Spares and does not cover unrelated faults, misuse, impact, liquid, contamination, incorrect power, external systems, tampering, or work performed by another person.

12. Collection and Unclaimed Equipment

Please collect or authorize return promptly after notice that the equipment is ready, unrepaired, or awaiting collection. If equipment remains unclaimed, we will make reasonable contact attempts. Disclosed storage or return costs may apply. Any further handling of unclaimed property will remain subject to applicable law; ownership is not automatically transferred merely because collection is delayed.

13. Liability and Mandatory Rights

Fix2Spares will use reasonable care while equipment is in our possession. To the extent permitted by law, liability relating to a repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair and excludes indirect loss, lost production, lost profit, or unavailable data. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Status Updates and Communications

Repair updates may be provided through the customer portal, email, phone, SMS, or WhatsApp. Keep your repair code and email secure. Contact repairs@fix2spares.com if contact details change or you believe tracking access has been compromised.

15. Contact and Concerns

For repair questions, estimates, approvals, complaints, or warranty concerns, email repairs@fix2spares.com, call +91 74475 58985, or write to Fix2Spares, 150, Globe Business Park, Kalyan-Badlapur Road, Ambernath (W), Thane, Maharashtra 421505, India.
